LaQuist is a global online boutique and brand that creates wearable art in the form of custom, hand-painted shoes. LaQuist sends shoes to customers across six continents, while giving back to people near and far along the way.
Lauren Rundquist is a twenty-something-year-old artist and entrepreneur from Saint Louis. Ever since she could first pick up a crayon, she has been painting, drawing, and sculpting; creating with anything colorful and messy that she get her hands on.
LaQuist shoes are hand painted using a formula of flexible, permanent, water resistant paint and then additionally sealed with a layer of satin varnish to ensure that the paint will last the life of the shoes. Each design is one-of-a-kind and every pair has a special story to tell.
