LaQuist is a global online boutique and brand that creates wearable art in the form of custom, hand-painted shoes. LaQuist sends shoes to customers across six continents, while giving back to people near and far along the way.

The artist.

Lauren Rundquist is a twenty-something-year-old artist and entrepreneur from Saint Louis. Ever since she could first pick up a crayon, she has been painting, drawing, and sculpting; creating with anything colorful and messy that she get her hands on.

The shoes.

LaQuist shoes are hand painted using a formula of flexible, permanent, water resistant paint and then additionally sealed with a layer of satin varnish to ensure that the paint will last the life of the shoes. Each design is one-of-a-kind and every pair has a special story to tell.

How do I order a pair of LaQuist shoes?

Send LaQuist a message! Whether you have a specific design request, an entirely abstract idea, or a particular recipient or event in mind, LaQuist will turn those ideas into a one-of-a-kind pair of shoes. A link will be provided to purchase online via Etsy.

How much does a completed pair of LaQuist shoes cost?

Price depends on the complexity of the design and the time it will take to create, but a completed pair of shoes ranges from about $75 to $175. There is no additional charge for small personalizations or entirely unique designs—in fact, custom designs are LaQuist’s specialty!

How long does a pair of LaQuist shoes take?

LaQuist shoes take 3-4 weeks to be prepped, painted, sealed, and shipped to your doorstep. They travel via USPS and a tracking number is provided along the way.

How durable is the paint and how long will the designs last?

How do I wash or clean my LaQuist shoes if they get dirty?
